Description
Highly Lustrous 1921 Gem Quarter
1921 25C MS65 PCGS. Dazzling luster shines through the veneer of mauve-gold patina that rests on each side of this better-date Gem. A solid strike brings out excellent definition on the design features, including the chain mail, the stripes of the inner shield, and all of the rivets. A couple of minute marks on each face likely precludes an even higher grade. Housed in a green-label holder. Population: 86 in 65, 16 finer (11/07).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243H, PCGS# 5740, Greysheet# 5545)
