Description
1878 8TF $1 MS65 PCGS. VAM-4. The date and ONE are nicely die doubled on this scarcer VAM. VAM-17 appears to be the most common high grade 8TF variety. This nearly untoned Gem has a moderately prooflike obverse, and both sides are highly lustrous. The fields are gorgeously smooth and the cheek has only a few wispy grazes.From The JTR Collection.(Registry values: P5, N1793)
