Near-Gem 1956 Franklin Half Dollar
Struck on a Quarter Planchet
1956 50C Franklin Half--Struck on a Quarter Planchet--MS64
NGC. 6.14 gm, close to the expected 6.25 gm weight of a silver
quarter flan. The peripheral legends are mostly absent, although
the upper portion of HALF DOLLAR is present. The date is sharp and
intact. Honey-gold toning visits both sides of this satiny and
unabraded near-Gem.
