1852-C $2 1/2 AU55 PCGS. Variety 1. A lower mintage C-mint quarter eagle with only 9,700 pieces produced. Both sides display smooth surfaces that are minimally marked, with a modest degree of even high point wear. A solitary nick is located just to the right of the date, and the usual minor striking weakness is noted on the eagle's leg feathers and talons. Population: 11 in 55, 10 finer (8/09).(Registry values: P2)
