Splendid 1723 Hibernia Halfpenny
MS66 Red and Brown, Beaded Cincture Variety
1723 1/2P Hibernia Halfpenny MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. Small
3. Breen-159, his "beaded cincture" variety with a series of beads
on the waist in line with the nose of the harp angel. A beautiful
Premium Gem with remarkably unabraded and carbon-free surfaces.
Orange-red iridescence dominates protected areas, and the open
fields and highpoints are golden-brown. Faint roller marks are
strictly of mint origin, and the waist of the seated effigy has
only a trace of strike incompleteness. Listed on page 43 of the
2007 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 66 Red and Brown, 0 finer
