Description
1925-D Nickel, MS65+
Sharp for the Issue
1925-D 5C MS65+ PCGS. Like other Denver Mint denominations
from the mid-1920s, the quality of strike varies widely. This
Plus-graded Gem nickel is refreshingly sharp for the issue, with
lustrous peach-gold highlights and satin-smooth, high-end surfaces.
The lower reverse is especially well-defined for a 1925-D. The
legends are crisp except for E PLURIBUS UNUM, which shows minor
distortion. Few examples are finer. Population: 12 in 65+, 14 finer
(2/17).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22S3, PCGS# 3955, Greysheet# 3126)
Weight: 5.00 grams
