1909-S VDB Cent, MS66 Red and Brown
Lustrous and Attractive
1909-S 1C VDB MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. This luminous Premium
Gem displays a full strike and unabraded surfaces. Golden and
chestnut-brown hues intermingle over each side, although the former
hue is dominant. Eye appeal is outstanding. Red and Brown examples
of this key date are scarce in MS66 and almost unknown finer. There
are a number of Red coins in this and finer grades. Population: 63
in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer (8/17).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2427, Greysheet# 1800)
