1904-S $5 MS62 PCGS. This yellow-gold better-date Liberty half eagle has ebullient luster and a few small marks between the first two stars. The 9 in the date is lightly repunched. Only 97,000 pieces were struck, since the double eagle was instead coined in prodigious quantity. Population: 28 in 62, 20 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N1793)
