Description
Attractive Near-Mint 1795 Half Dime
1795 H10C AU58 ANACS. V-6, LM-9, R.4. A scarce variety noted for its widely spaced IB in LIBERTY and a leaf tip below the center of the A in STATES. Toned a mottled blue-gray color over both sides with contrasting silvery-reddish patina surrounding the devices. There are a few adjustment marks noted on the obverse and several other smaller, less noticeable marks scattered about. Very sharply struck on the obverse with the usually seen softness on the eagle's breast.(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22ZV, PCGS# 4251, Greysheet# 3718)
