Attractive 1851 Gold Dollar, MS65
1851 G$1 MS65 NGC. A sharply impressed yellow gold Gem of the Type One design, which was essential to commerce prior to 1853 due to a shortage of silver coins in commerce. The fields display wispy grazes, but the overall preservation is appealing.
