British India. Victoria gold Mohur 1841-(c) MS61 NGC,
Calcutta mint, KM462.1, S&W-3.7. Type A obverse, Type I
reverse. W.W. incuse on truncation, plain 4 (without serif). Mild
peppering of surface chatter, regardless an entirely lovely example
of this hugely popular type; the present example projecting a
pale-gold resplendence and generous peripheral luster.Metal: Gold
