Cleopatra VII Bronze of Damascus

Cleopatra VII (51-30 BC). AE 25mm (25mm, 11.28 gm, 12h).  Damascus, Syria, 37/6 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra right / Tyche seated left on rock, holding cornucopia, river-god swimming at her feet; ΔAMAΣKHNΩN to right, date COΣ (Seleucid Year 276 = 37/6 BC) to left, all within wreath. SNG Copenhagen 419. RPC 4781. Very rare, particulary in good grade. One of the best examples offered in recent years. Brown-red patina. Very Fine / Good Very Fine.
