1879-CC $20 --Cleaned--ANACS. AU55 Details. A better Carson City issue, since only 10,708 pieces were struck. Among CC-mint twenties, only the famous 1870-CC, the 1885-CC, and the 1891-CC have smaller productions. This example is bright from a past cleaning, and has hairlined fields and occasional pitting and pinscratches near the rims. Wear is mostly limited to the highpoints of Liberty's hair.(Registry values: N2998)
