Sparkling Gem Mint State 1868 Seated Half Dime
1868 H10C MS66 PCGS. A delight to behold with ample mint frost on the devices and slightly reflective fields. We note a fine line creasing down Liberty's thigh and a singular tick below her chest. Ringed with rich golden hues on the obverse and reverse, and quite attractive for this early issue. The strike is sharp on all devices, and none show appreciable softness. Both dies show clashing. While not the absolute finest example known, this coin is certainly close to that level, and would make a welcome addition to any collection.(#4392) (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 234N, PCGS# 4392, Greysheet# 3796)
