Description

Anhalt-Dessau. Friedrich I 2 Mark 1896-A MS65 NGC, Berlin mint, KM23, J-20. A scarce one-year emission issued in the waning years of the 19th century, extremely impressive at the Gem designation. Soft and silky, but cartwheeling luster enrobes this silver minor, invigorating the light autumnal-toned surfaces. Surpassed by only a single premium Gem in the NGC census.
