Description

Newfoundland. Victoria lead Uniface Trial 5 Cents 1894, London mint, NF-19, SP55 PCGS. Charlton plate coin. A somewhat crudely accomplished reverse trial striking in lead, with the impression being placed in an irregular octagonal flan. Rather unusual, and likely unique for the date and denomination, with an appeal that appears well-matched for that of a museum.
