Japan 1945ND Issue 1000 Yen P-45s3 Specimen. High grade Specimen of the key 1000 Yen note that displays the wonderful colors and engraving of this popular rarity. (For a similar very rare overprint type, see Korea P-42A in a following lot in this auction). Variety with small vermillion Mi-hon stamped twice on front and back. Western block and serial numbers. Soft centerfold and minor handling do not detract from the beauty of this note. PMG Unc 50. 4 POC.
