Not Sold Description
1938-S 50C Arkansas MS65 PCGS. Though Mint practice at the time was to place the date and mintmark on opposite sides of the coin for minor silver issues, numerous commemorative designs, including the Arkansas, violated that unwritten rule. This satiny and well-defined piece exhibits soft yellow and baby-blue patina over surfaces that appear cleaner than the grade would suggest. From The Cary & Cheryl Porter Collection.(Registry values: N491)
