Description
1883 1C Indian Cent--Double Struck, 2nd Strike 75% Off Center--VF30 NGC. The first strike was normal, but the piece failed to fully eject and was struck a second time, 75% off center toward 3 o'clock. The second strike is at 12 o'clock relative to the first strike. No additional planchet was fed for the second strike. This medium brown cent has a full LIBERTY, although a few letters are faint.Auction Info
