1880/79-CC $1 Reverse of 1878 MS63 NGC. VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. The parallel arrow feather and flat eagle's breast are the pickup points for this popular variety, along with the obvious overdate feature. A frosty and boldly radiant piece with good cameo contrast, likely kept from a higher grade by a few minor luster grazes on the obverse.From The Chippewa Valley Collection.(Registry values: P5, N491)
