Description
1881-O $1 MS65 PCGS. Although common in low grades, the 1881-O can be difficult to locate in Gem, and is exceedingly rare in any grade finer. Delightful light brown toning encircles the rims, which contrasts nicely against the brilliant and frosty centers. Several light grazes and minor reeding marks keep this lovely piece from an even higher grade. PCGS has certified only 12 coins finer (7/08).
