Description

Volcano & Condor Study Group, Volcano motif minors of 1834 were a favorite of Dana as they are of coin collectors worldwide. This lot, including some varieties, includes 10 of the One Real, plus 3 of the Half Real, and 2 of the Two Reales. We don't ever recall 15 pieces being offered in one lot ! The very scarce and popular early Condor type is represented by 5 of the Half Reales; three are from the popular first year of 1838 and one each, with hole, from 1840 & 1841. One Real 1840 includes a rousing Trio ! Three coppers are added: 1835 Half Centavo plus 1851 examples of both denominations. Total of 26 coins. Quality is typical for widely circulated examples of the included types of the era; some may be choice for the type while others exhibit various typical small flaws. Sold As Is, NO Returns.
