Description

Collectible 1793 Half Cent, C-2

1793 1/2 C Genuine PCGS. C-1, B-1, High R.3. The PCGS number ending in .95 suggests Scratched as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of an AG specimen that is scratched and corroded. A thin vertical scratch is noted on the left obverse field near the profile. Slight rim dings are apparent at 5 and 7 o'clock on the obverse. The surfaces are moderately rough, as expected for a well circulated example. The date is clear, as are most peripheral letters. A budget example of this desirable first year and single year type. MRB Fair 2.(Registry values: P8, N8)
