1849 G$1 Open Wreath MS65 NGC. Small Head, With L. Outstanding luster and generally bold striking details are noted on each side of this conditionally scarce Gem gold dollar. Only the peripheral stars on the obverse are somewhat weakly struck. Flashy and attractive, with rich lime-gold toning and few marks. Census: 53 in 65, 15 finer (7/07).
