Description

Victoria Specimen 1 Cent 1876-H SP66 Red and Brown PCGS, Heaton mint, KM1. Fully prooflike fields, with mottled golden-red and reddish-brown patina. The strike is bold and the surfaces free of significant flaws. This is the first-year issue of the new obverse type and also the first Canada Cent struck by the Heaton mint, from dies supplied by the Royal mint. Quite rare as a Specimen issue and one of the finer pieces known.
