Pedro II gold 10000 Reis 1836 MS64 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM451, LMB-618, Guimaraes-1836-4.4. First type, Young bust. Mintage: 10,864. A spectacular rendition of this popular "child bust" type bearing razor-sharp motifs and velveteen, cartwheeling luster. Besting even the RLM example by three points, this remains the sole finest recorded by NGC and the second finest grade recorded for all Brazilian 1649-1889 10000 Reis issues.
