Republic Specimen 10 Centavos 1884-A PL65 NGC, Paris mint, KM170.1. Despite the Prooflike designation, this coin displays all characteristics of a Specimen strike, with satiny and reflective mirror-like surfaces and a particularly strong strike. The normal circulation examples of this copper nickel issue are quite scarce in high grade since most of them were recalled and officially pierced to distinguish them from silver minor coins then in circulation. Specimen strikes are extremely rare and desirable.Metal: Copper-Nickel
