Württemberg. Wilhelm II silver Proof Pattern "Wedding Anniversary" 3 Mark 1911-F PR63 NGC, Stuttgart mint, Schaaf-177B/G2. A decidedly scarce Pattern issue which serves as a clear precursor to the ultimately adopted 1911 Wedding Anniversary issue of similar but distinctively different design, the main differences seen in the legends and bordering, as well as the size of the central devices, notably so in the reverse eagle which is surrounded by an inner border on this Pattern. Exhibiting a fine silver patina and choice preservation, this specimen stands as the only example of the type we have encountered, and possibly the only one that we will.From the Cape Coral Collection of 3 Marks
