Description

Nicholas I copper Specimen Pattern 3 Kopecks 1827-CПБ SP64 Brown PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, KM-Pn89, Bitkin-915 (R3), Brekke-200 (R2). Narrow line between denomination and date. Plain edge. The obverse faces up with exceedingly attractive glassy surfaces carrying underlying royal blue and magenta toning. The reverse exhibits more autumnal hues yet the field remains eye-catching and sleek. A classic rarity of a denomination produced over 2 Kopeck pieces as Patterns, but actually never were introduced in the new coinage and has remained in abeyance ever since.

Metal: Copper
Diameter: 29mm
