Reverse of 1802
1802/0 1/2 C Reverse of 1802, C-2, B-2, R.3, Fine 15 NGC.
The two 1802 half cent varieties, from a single obverse die, are
the earliest overdates identified for the denomination. Examples
are infrequently encountered in any grade. The present medium
olive-brown piece, while exhibiting minor surface flaws such as a
small corrosion spot in the lower hair curls, presents nicely for
