1799 Cent, VG Sharpness
S-189, Draped Bust Key Date
1799 1C S-189, B-3, R.2 -- Environmental Damage -- NGC Details.
VG. The die chip between the E in ONE and the T in CENT
confirms the Sheldon variety. A medium brown example of the famous
key date. Most legends are bold, although STATES OF and the lower
half of the date are worn. The surfaces are evenly granular, and
display aqua verdigris on the MER in AMERICA. Small marks are noted
on the EN in CENT and the top of the portrait. Our EAC grade AG3.
