Jose I gold 800 Reis 1766-B Clipped NGC, Bahia mint, KM180.1, LMB-347, Bentes-189.11 (R1). 1.51gm. A generally challenging mint and denomination for this era, with this being the first example of the date we have ever offered. Despite what appears to be some light cleaning over the surfaces, the strike still appears definite, and the condition of the piece is likely around VF.From the Pernambucana Collection
