Description

1839-O No Drapery Dime, MS65+
Needle-Sharp Strike, Early Die State

1839-O 10C No Drapery, Large O, F-105, R.3, MS65+ PCGS. CAC. This piece is in an extremely early die state without the rim cud at 5 o'clock on the obverse. Every minute detail, from the stars to Liberty's hair curls to the leaf veins, is sharply defined. The frosty surfaces display soft champagne luster and are devoid of mentionable abrasions. As a date, the 1839-O dime is scarce in Mint State and is rare in Gem or better condition. This is a stellar representative that will please even the most discerning collector. Population: 2 in 65 (1 in 65+), 8 finer. CAC: 4 in 65, 5 finer (2/25).(Registry values: N4719)
