Description

1835 1/2 C C-2, B-2, R.1, MS64+ Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State 3, cracked and clashed. This high-end near-Gem Red and Brown 1835 half cent displays well-struck design elements with rich burgundy overtones atop copper-red luster. The reverse is rotated slightly clockwise, as is characteristic of this variety. All varieties included, PCGS lists 25 finer Red and Brown examples. Our EAC grade MS62. CAC: 20 in 64, 15 finer (4/16).
