Description

1794 1C Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent, NEW YORK VF30 NGC. Fuld-4, W-8590, R.1. A moderately worn example of this heavily minted issue, plentiful enough in its time that examples were used as planchets for U.S. copper coinage. Aside from a narrow line in the right obverse field, the chocolate-brown surfaces are generally smooth. Listed on page 72 of the 2011 Guide Book.
