Description
Snow-9 1856 Flying Eagle Cent
1856 1C --Planchet Defect--ANACS Genuine. Snow-9. In our opinion, this piece has the details of an MS60 specimen that has a reverse planchet defect. This copper-orange and violet example displays beautifully obverse-up, though a sizable planchet defect overlaps the right ribbon end and the rim below. In context, this is a remarkably minor fault that should not put off the bidder who is interested in this coin, which is for all intents and purposes Mint State.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 2013, Greysheet# 15310)
