Description

1856-S Seated Dime, MS62
Prooflike Mint State Rarity

1856-S 10C F-101, R.5, MS62 NGC. This piece is in a late stage of the F-101 die state but not quite all the way to the F-101a state. Faint die cracks are visible around the obverse border, but the defect under the flag of the 5 is still visible. Both sides have prooflike fields and sharp design elements.
