Very Rare Silver Qirsh of the Rebel 'Ali Bey
'Ali Bey, rebel in Egypt, Qirsh (40 Para) AH 1183 (1769/70) XF - Harshly Cleaned, Tooled, Misr mint, KM117, ICV-3391, UBK-36-01. 14.41g. A very rare offering in any grade. The present specimen has been heavily cleaned in the past, perhaps to disguise the tooling to one side on the reverse. An edge flaw is also noted.Ex. Dr Hans Wilski Collection
