Description
Queen Luise of Prussia gold "100th Anniversary of Death" Medal 1910 MS63 NGC, Kienast-11. By Goetz. Produced with uniform satin-textured surfaces and depicting a high-relief bust of Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie on the obverse and a reverse that dates her death and celebrates its 100th anniversary with the adornment of a torch, rose and ribbon beneath a radiant crown. While available in bronze and silver, examples in gold appear infrequently on the market.Note: Unless dated 1911 on the edge, the NGC insert should read 1910.
