1829 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.1 -- Altered Surfaces -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. Manley Die State 2.0. A sharply struck representative of the only known die pair for 1829, this example has pleasing chocolate-brown surfaces with traces of underlying orange color, possibly cleaned and retoned, but highly attractive. A few trivial marks are evident on Liberty's neck and cheek. Our EAC grade AU50.From The Mark Hays Collection of Half Cents.
