Semiprooflike Fields, Lightly Toned

1867 25C MS64 PCGS. Briggs 1-A. The fields of both sides are striated by mint-made die polishing, with a notably heavy die line running from the eagle's left (facing) wing through the tip of the ribbon. Lilac and blue-gray toning covers the obverse, fading from dark to light across the coin. The reverse is brilliant in the center with russet and peach border hues. Some prooflikeness is apparent from the die polishing. Population: 3 in 64, 0 finer (4/19).(Registry values: P5)
