1796 S-84, B-5 Cent, VF30
Attractive Liberty Cap Specimen
1796 1C Liberty Cap VF30 NGC. S-84, B-5, R.3. An early die
state with a slight die bulge at the 96, and a light crack to the
tops of O and F. Although slightly weak at the central reverse,
most other design motifs are sharp for the grade. Both sides have
smooth and essentially problem free surfaces with dark olive and
steel toning. An attractive cent. Our EAC grade VF20.Purchased from Bertram Cohen (3/1987). Ex: J. Wade (6/22/1943).
