Description

1943-D/D 1C MS65 PCGS. FS-501. The mintmark is widely repunched southwest, as photographed on page 120 of the 2014 Guide Book. A razor-sharp strike and strong cartwheel luster confirm the Gem grade. Essentially free from contact, though some minute gray flecks are distributed. The obverse field has some minuscule trapped air bubbles, as made.
