Republic 1/2 Peso 1897-A MS62 NGC, Philadelphia mint (Dies prepared at the Paris Mint), KM15. Conditionally scarce and seldomly found this attractive, this example displays speckled toning that adds visual texture without becoming too obtrusive. The devices possess a light frost that stands out as almost-Prooflike against the partially mirrored fields, especially on the reverse.
