1944-D/S 1C FS-512 MS66 Red PCGS. A fully struck orange-red example that boasts booming luster and a virtual absence of carbon. The San Francisco mintmark is apparent west, within, and south of the Denver mintmark. The variety is not to be confused with the Guide Book FS-511 1944-D/S, which shows an S north of the D. Population: 8 in 66 Red, 0 finer (5/16).
