Description

1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, XF40 PCGS. Die Pair 2. The lines in the wheat ears are sharp on this key date cent, an indication that the coin has much less actual wear than implied by Lincoln's cheek and jaw. Diagnostic for the Strong Reverse variety, TRUST and the second 2 in the date are much sharper than the rest of the obverse legend. A pleasing, problem-free chocolate-brown example.
