Description

1857 1C MS64 PCGS. Snow-14. The first regular-issue Flying Eagle cents are always popular, but high-grade coins are particularly desirable. This lovely near-Gem features copious luster over tan-gold surfaces and minor marks at the lower obverse. Softness is limited to the eagle's head, tailfeathers, and the upper wreath elements. Snow-14 is a minor doubled die variety.(Registry values: N1793)
