Description

1914 Lincoln Cent, PR66+ Red and Brown
Ample Red Mint Luster

1914 1C PR66+ Red and Brown PCGS Secure. CAC. Proof cent production dramatically dropped in 1914, consistent with a decline in minor proof set interest, and high-end survivors are elusive. This Plus-graded Premium Gem boasts sharply defined details and beautifully preserved matte surfaces. The obverse displays deep copper-red patina overall, with rich burgundy on the raised regions, while blended green-gold and bronze-red hues encompass the reverse. The reverse appears to lie solidly within the Red designation. A spectacular example from this remarkable consignment. Population: 31 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red and Brown, 4 finer (4/14).
