Hamburg. Free City gold Specimen "Peace of Amiens" Medal of 5 Ducats 1802 SP60 PCGS, Gaed-1993, Vogel-8826. 37mm. 16.45gm. By A. Abramson. On the Treaty of Amiens, ending hostilities between Britain and France during the French Revolutionary Wars. A brilliant and slightly Prooflike example of this historical Medal, needle-sharp across lightly frosted motifs. The whole of the surfaces are a pleasing sun-gold, displaying a slight degree of mirror reflectivity and only fine hairlines to preclude finer certification.Metal: Gold
