Rare in Finer Grades
1927-S 5C MS65 NGC. Satiny mint luster yields delicate
golden toning, while no major abrasions distract from the eye
appeal. This San Francisco issue is known for coming weakly struck
from worn dies, although this piece exhibits better-than-average
definition and die integrity. Only slight softness in the centers
is noticed. Census: 31 in 65 (2 in 65+, 2 in 65★ ), 8 finer
